  1. Checkin at Edinburgh Airport
    1. Edit

Tom had to head down to Chippenham for a work presentation, so I decided to keep him company. We'd be staying in Bath for a couple of days before heading to London for a few nights on our way home.

  2. Checkin at Bristol Airport
    1. Edit

We flew into Bristol airport and then caught a bus to Bath.

  3. Checkin at Jane Austen Apartments, Bath

Tom had booked us into Jane Austen's Apartment, where she had lived between 1801 and 1805.

We were staying in Mr Darcy's 2nd Floor Apartment and it was gorgeous with a huge lounge and kitchen.

    4. Edit

There was a scented candle burning as we made our way in, a box of local snacks and even some books about Mr Darcy for bedtime reading.

The bedroom was very cosy with feather lamps, Jane Austen quotes and even a paining of Colin Firth on the wall.

I ordered the ginger beer battered halloumi which was delicious and came with the triple cooked chips which were the best I'd ever tasted.

    4. Edit

Unfortunately the Seitan medallions that Tom ordered were terrible and far too chewy to eat, so I ended up sharing my food with him.
