  2. Checkin at Kennington
    1. Edit

We then had a flat viewing at a converted school in Kennington. The loft was gorgeous so we placed an offer on it and then just had to wait to hear back.

  3. Checkin at Carnaby London
    1. Edit

Feeling anixiuous about the offer, we decided to kill time by catching the bus into the city and exploring Carnaby Street.

  4. Checkin at Irregular Choice Carnaby
    1. Edit

I couldn't resist popping into the Irregular Choice store to look at all the gorgeous shoes.

    2. Edit

The shop was gorgeous, covered in glitter and filled with unicorns.

    3. Edit

The new collection had mermaids, squirrels and Alice In Wonderland for the heels.

We then got the call that our offer on the new flat had been accepted, so decided to upgrade our coffee for something stronger to celebrate.

  7. Checkin at Reverend JW Simpson
    1. Edit

We ended up at Reverend JW Simpson, a speakeasy hidden away in Bloomsbury.

I ordered the Troubles & Cares cocktail with fennel gin, Chartreuse and pear foam but sillyily didn't realise it came with a side of meat. They were so kind and swept it right away after I realised.

  8. Checkin at Arancini Brothers
    1. Edit

We needed to lie down for a minute after all the excitement, so headed back to Old Street for a disco nap before heading out to Arancini Brothers for some risotto balls.

    2. Edit

I tried their special which were risotto balls with butternut squash and cheese. They were so good that I'd wished I'd ordered a larger portion.

  9. Checkin at The Gibson
    1. Edit

We then popped into The Gibson next door, a classy little cocktail bar with the same musician from last night at Nightjar playing songs on the piano.

    2. Edit

We were given Welcome Punch when we sat down a jar of pickels to nibble on.

I ordered The Gibson Girl, a martini served with a spoonful of parma violet jam, flowers and sides of parmesan cheese and balsamic figs to nibble.

    5. Edit

Tom ordered the Big In Japan cocktail which came topped with wasabi peas being infused by incence.

Our cocktails came with so many nibbles and sides we didn't even have to go for dinner afterwards.
