Maki & Ramen have opened a new location on Fountainbridge, right next to us, so we met up with Pamela after work and headed along to check it out.

The restaurant is in the same place where Kanpung Alley used to be but they've completely transformed the space with a modern makeover, lanterns and tables that sink into the floor.

I tried the grilled sushi set with grilled salmon, surf clam and prawn. It was topped with a really nice sauce and spices which made it taste amazing.

Tom had the salmon broth ramen.
