    1. Edit

It was Phil's birthday today and Katie had made a reservation for all of us at Chaophraya but not told him that Tom & I would be joining them for dinner.

Chaophraya is somewhere I've wanted to go for ages, as I've heard they have a gorgeous view and make amazing cocktails.

Tom and I shared the Thai fish cakes to start, which were really tasty and not too spicy. Katie & Phil had a sharing platter which looked amazing - we'll have to come back and try the vegetarian one.

I then had the tofu pad thai which was covered in peanuts, just the way I like it.

Katie then surprised Phil with a birthday cake.

  2. Checkin at Badger & Co
    1. Edit

We headed to Badger & Co, a new Wind In The Willows themed bar just across the road in the house where author Kenneth Grahame used to live.

I had a Rhu-Boy Ratty with Absolut vanilla, rhubarb liqueur, vanilla syrup and rhubarb bitters.
