  1. Checkin at Glasgow, United Kingdom
    1. Edit

We headed through to Glasgow today and I was on the hunt for ghost signs.

  2. Checkin at unknown place
    1. Edit

We went for lunch at Bar Bloc where we sat under the neon, ordered veggie hot dogs and giggled at the photos of Trump & Putin on the menu.

    2. Edit

We tried The Not Dog which was made with butternut squash, chickpeas, sweet potato and walnuts, topped with avocado, cheese sauce, Quorn chilli, apricots and mustard.

It was amazing and I'd have happily tucked into some Vladimir Poutine fries if it hadn't completely filled me up.

  3. Checkin at Lego Store
    1. Edit

We popped into the Lego store afterwards but could only get something small, as we were off to a gig later and I didn't want to recreate the traumatic "opening Lego on the bus incident" of my childhood.

    2. Edit

We settled for some MiniFigure key rings, so Tom got Batman for his keys while I got Harley Quinn for mine.

  4. Checkin at The Old Hairdressers
    1. Edit

We then went for a drink at The Old Hairdressers which felt like sitting inside a ghost sign with it's peeling wallpaper, candlelight and vintage decor.

There was an old black & white film playing with live music which added to the effect.

  5. Checkin at Stereo Cafe Bar
    1. Edit

We headed to Stereo afterwards to grab some vegan food before the gig. We shared the tempeh reuben and some spring rolls.

  6. Checkin at Tabac
    1. Edit

We still had some time before the gig, so we headed to Tabac for cocktails.

    2. Edit

I had an Elder Fizz with elderflower gin and prosecco and Tom had an aviation.

    3. Edit

There was an old cigarette machine which had been turned into a fish tank.

  7. Checkin at Stereo
    1. Edit

It was then time to head back to Stereo to see My Vitriol, who we always seem to see once every ten years.

The were mainly playing their new songs, which annoyed the guy next to us, but as soon as they played some classic hits, he started crying.
