Tom had the day off work and was in the mood for a drive an adventure, so we headed down the East coast.
We stopped off in a cute little coastal town called St Abbs and drove down to the harbour.
We sat and watched the seabirds for a while down in the harbour.
We then made our way to Berwick-Upon-Tweed where we used to take camping holidays when I was a little kid.
We got a nifty little parking wheel so that we could park up Fig in the town.
We headed down to the quay where you get the perfect view of all three of Berwick's bridges.
The town is surrounded by a city wall, so there are lots of little alleys and closes to explore.
We popped into The Brown Bear for a drink, a pub named after the brown bear which appears on Berwick's coat of arms.
Afterwards we popped down to Berwick Lighthouse which reminded me of something out of Moonrise Kingdom.
It was then time to head home, but not before stopping off at Pizzaioli to grab some pizza for the drive.
On the way home, Tom took a little detour so that we could drive over the Union Suspension Bridge between England and Scotland.
