Tom and I had to meet with the bank today to set up a business bank account and the earliest appointment was through in Glasgow.
We had some time to kill beforehand, so we met up with Laura in Kelvingrove.
Laura recommended having lunch at Dumpling Monkey, a tasty little Chinese restaurant with steamed up windows and cheap dumplings.
Tom had an udon noodle soup while I tucked into a flower roll, some vegetarian dumplings and a bubble tea.
It also gave us the chance to give Laura her Christmas present, a Cats Against Cat Calls t-shirt that I'd spotted in Bust.
After our meeting at the bank, we rewarded ourselves for being grownups with a trip to the LEGO Store.
I made a friend at the Batman Minifigures who had been standing there for an hour squeezing the packets to find a Minifigure of a bunny. After some squeezing, I found it for him and then he found Harley Quinn for me and was so relieved that he could finally go home.
After tugging on his sleeve, Tom agreed that we could ride the Subway back to the car, because it was cheaper than a bus and feels like riding on a toy train.
Our bag of Lego was almost too big to fit on the train.
I giggled and took photos the whole way, while the other passengers looked at us like we were mad.
The sun was starting to set as we got back to the car and Kelvingrove looked so pretty.
We stopped off at Drygate Brewery for dinner on the drive home.
I had a beetroot risotto which was bright pink and cooked up with goats cheese and pesto.
