There was a gorgeous sunrise when we woke up in our trailer at Brooks Guesthouse this morning.

Tom had to rush off for work, so he couldn't stay for breakfast, but I tucked into a delicious plate of French toast.

It was quite a rainy day but I was determined to get out and explore more of Bristol.

I went for lunch at Bagel Boy as I'd heard do they best bagels in town.

There were so many tempting things on the menu but I went for the Turbo Boy bagel with butternut squash, feta, tomato, leaves and hot chilli mayo.

Opposite to Brooks Guesthouse, you'll find St Nicholas Market, a gorgeous glass arcade and covered market.

There are dozens of stalls selling everything from records and antiques to fashion and food.

Crafters will love Sew N Sew, a craft store filled with yarns, haberdashery and sewing and knitting equipment.

Though small, it's filled with everything a crafter could need and I was excited to find some giant white buttons, perfect for my retro rocket wash bag.

I met Tom after work and we went for pizza and a cider sampling platter at The Stable.

We shared The Billy the Kid which was one of the tastiest pizzas I've had in ages, topped with goats cheese, caramelised onions, mushrooms and handfuls of roasted hazelnuts.

In the evening we went for a drink at The Rummer Hotel nearby our hotel.

I tried to tempt Tom with their Blue Cheese Martini but he wasn't game so we had a Clover Club and Vieux Carre instead.
