We've recently discovered an awesome new cafe down at Port Edgar Marina called Down The Hatch.
It's filled mostly with fishermen and yacht club members grabbing their lunch, but the owners are really into their food and create Canadian / Scottish inspired recipes like burgers with donut buns and fries topped with poutine.
Tom tucked into the largest plate of fish and chips he'd ever seen while I had a breakast burrito filled with scrambled eggs, cheese and potato hash.
And as it's right next to the marina, it's perfected located to take a walk afterwards to see the boats and check the progress on the new Forth Bridge.
We spent the rest of the afternoon working in the super sleepy Starbucks down at Dreghorn Links where they had creme brulee lattes.
I had half a jar of peanut butter left over so I decided to turn it into some energy bites balls.
