While Tom was at work in Chippenham, I would be heading through to London for the day, where we'd meet in the evening before travelling back to Edinburgh.

It felt so good to be back in London and I was amazed that you can just use your bank card as an Oyster card these days.

I picked up a Padding Bear from Paddington Station as a Christmas present for my Nana and took him for a coffee on Portobello Road.

I'd booked myself in for a haircut at Taylor Taylor because they always make my hair look so much nicer than anywhere else and I love their cocktails.

I left with some fluffy new bangs.

I stopped off at Hummingbird to pick up a carrot cake cupcake to take to the park.

Holland Park is still my favourite place in the whole of London because of the friendly squirrels and peacocks. It reminds me of a Disney movie when all the animals come to see you.

I made myself comfy in the Kyoto Garden and a squirrel came to sit next to me on the bench.

I'd remembered that there were hazelnuts on top of my cupcake, so I got it out to share them with the squirrel.

While I was distracted taking photos, the squirrel pinched the whole cupcake and ran up a tree with it.

It then dropped the cupcake and shared it with a robin. It was just like a John Lewis Christmas advert.

I met Tom at the tube station when he arrived in London and we headed to Westfield.
