  1. Checkin at Forth Road Bridge
    1. Edit

Mum phoned up to see if I wanted to go shopping for glasses in Dundee today. It was super misty as we crossed over the bridge.

  2. Checkin at The Parlour cafe
    1. Edit

Tom and I arrived in Dundee before my parents, so we decided to wait in The Parlour Cafe.

    2. Edit

It's such a nice cafe and the windows are always steamed up, which adds to the cosyness.

  3. Checkin at The Tinsmith Dundee
    1. Edit

When my parents arrived, we went for lunch at The Tinsmith.

    2. Edit

Their speciality is pies and I went for a butternut squash pie with sweet potato fries and caramlised onions.

  4. Checkin at Spex Pistols
    1. Edit

Afterwards we popped into Spex Pistols for a look at their vintage glasses.

    2. Edit

Vicky recommended this place after we'd complimented her on her amazing collection of glasses.

It was hard to find a pair I suited, without looking like Heston Blumenthal but I loved this pair of thick rimmed cat eye glasses.

  5. Checkin at Dundee Contemporary Arts
    1. Edit

We went for a look around the DCA afterwards where they had an exhibition of artistic takes on DC Thomson.

    2. Edit

We went for Toblerone Martinis in the bar afterwards. I'm glad they still serve my favourite cocktail after all these years.

  6. Edit

In the evening, Katie & Phil invited us over for drinks and to play the tattoo game that I'd got her for Christmas. It was so much fun but we were covered in ink afterwards.

  7. Edit

I couldn't help swooning over Katie's gorgeously organized kitchen pegboard.
