      To kick off Tom's birthday in style, we headed down to the Marble Slab Creamery on Whyte Avenue.

      They mix together the ice cream with ingredients of your choice on a marble slab. They have every type of topping you can imagine, which is amazing.

      We browsed the books in the Wee Book Inn which is an amazing store with little cats sleeping in between the books.

    When we got to the end of the street we noticed that a train was coming, so we waited so that we could squish a penny.

    The Edmonton Fringe is on at the moment, so there's all kinds of events going on around the city. We sat in a park for a while watching fire dancers. We liked their outfits.
