Tom wanted to celebrate his last day working at Freeagent by going out for dinner this evening but there was a horrible rainstorm tempting us to stay indoors. Google to the rescue, we looked up restaurants nearby our place that we could dash to without getting too wet.

We ended up at Piatto Verde, an cosy little Italian restaurant on Dundee Street that serves pizza, pasta and cheap carafes of wine.

Tom had an anchovy pizza while I tucked into a seafood linguine. I loved that you could order half-portions of the pasta dishes and try a few different things.
