      The weather was perfect - just cold enough to wrap up, but sunny and bright, so we took a walk through the Botanic Gardens.

      We went for breakfast at Cottonrake this morning, a super cute bakery on Great Western Road where you can sit in the window and watch the world go by.

      We had pastries and coffee while I tried to resist snuggling all the fluffy little customers.

      Penny Black isn't your usual post office - it's super trendy with a hip cafe, gift shop and amazing selection stationery.

      We could have spent hours looking through all the greetings cards, which had a huge selection of funny cat themed cards. I could have bought a whole year's worth in just the one shop.

      It's so nice to see that snail mail is alive and well at this post office and it's sure to become my go-to stop when I need to top up on stationery.

      Back at Igniton Festival, David Culthard was the big star of the day, racing around in F1 cars and signing thousands of autographs.

      In the evening, we headed back through to Edinburgh where we had tickets to see Hot Brown Honey at the Assembly Roxy with Ailsa.

      They were amazing and the show was a mix of singing, dancing, cabaret of politics.
