We started our day in the Videotheque at the Filmhouse, catching up on films we'd missed and shorts we'd been recommended. Tom watched Whisky Galore so he could work on his questions for the red carpet.

It was then time for the Whisky Galore screening at The Festival Theatre, where I was photographing the stars as they arrived on the red carpet, while Tom was doing interviews inside.

It was raining really heavily while we waiting at the red carpet. The stars managed to stay glamorous under their umbrellas while all the photographers ended up soggy.

Meanwhile, Tom was interviewing the cast as part of the press cluster and chatting to Eddie Izzard about shooting in Scotland.

Tom took me for dinner at Tutto Matto so I could dry off and tuck into pizza while waiting for the movie to finish.

It was then time for the Closing Gala which was at the gorgeous Playfair Library.

We were sad that the film festival had come to an end but at least there was lots of whisky to drown our sorrows with.

Photographs from the festival were being shown on a screen above the bar. I spotted a few of me taking photos while looking like someone from Assassin's Creed in the background.

We stopped off at the Filmhouse on our way home so we could have one last drink and say goodbye to all the lovely people we'd met during the festival.
