A new cafe on a canal boat has just opened along from our house called The Counter.

It looks super cute and you can sit either inside or outside the boat. We were in a rush this morning so we ordered two coffees and tasty cookies to go.

My first appointment of the day was a Photo Call with Kevin Smith and Harley Quinn at The Howard.

I felt a little bossy but couldn't resist asking them to pose like superheroes, because they'd look awesome on the cover of an upcoming issue of Snippets.

I was supposed to be taking my Dad to a whisky festival but had been offered a last minute interview with Kevin & Harley, so Tom went in my place, while I worked on my questions at Archipelago Bakery.

I wish I hadn't fretted about my questions so much, as soon as we sat down, Kevin started chatting and didn't stop for a full 45 minutes.

The interview was only supposed to last for 25 minutes but ended up taking an hour, while Kevin chatted about Yoga Hosers, comic books and making films that he wanted to see.

I really wanted to ask Harley a few questions about herself, so gently interrupted at the end, as she'd mainly sat drawing while her Dad talked. She was so cool and lived up to her awesome name.

I felt guilty for not spending much time with my Dad, so we treated him to dinner at Wagamama and a cinema ticket for a film that night.

I then had to rush off to the Cineworld to take photos of the red carpet for the premier of Tiger Raid. Guess who was there?! Kevin Smith... and I felt like shouting "we've got to stop bumping into each other like this".

In the evening, there were networking drinks at the Apex Heights which had an amazing view of the castle at sunset.
