  1. Checkin at King's Cross St. Pancras
    1. Edit

After an early start, we caught the @[110718776425:Eurostar] to Paris. It was so fast that I hardly even noticed when we were in the Channel Tunnel.

    2. Edit

The pylons along the way look like little animals.

  2. Checkin at Gard du Nord
    1. Edit

I spotted a double decker RER train as we were approaching Gard Du Nord. They're so cool, I hope we get to go on one while we're here.

  3. Checkin at Château de Vincennes (métro de Paris)
    1. Edit

Paris was grey and rainy when we arrived, so we caught the Metro straight to our hotel. There was a man carrying around a huge papier mache M and was walking up and down the carriages, doing magic tricks and blowing kisses to all the women. He thought we were American. The area of Paris we're staying in is called Château de Vincennes, which is a really pretty suburb with it's own castle.

  4. Edit

My Mum and I waited in an awesome graveyard while my Dad went on the hunt for the hotel. Lots of people were visiting the graves with flowers, but everyone seemed happy and cheerful, almost like it was a celebration.

  5. Checkin at Royal Regency
    1. Edit

We were pretty sleepy by the time we got to the hotel, so we had a nap.

    2. Edit

Dad brought back groceries from the shops, including a delicious bread, cheeses and wine which cost about £1.50 per bottle.
