    We had a Great British Sewing Bee Watch-A-Long on CO+K this morning.

    It was so much fun, though a little hard to keep up with all the outfits. I did love the cape round, and even though it was for children, I'd quite like to make this one for myself.

    By the end of the show, my E key had come loose - proving that the watch-a-long board concept was a total success!

      I convinced Katie & Phil to come to Say It Ain't Sew this week, so we met up for a beer at BrewDog beforehand. It was warm enough to sit outside, even in the shadowy Cowgate.

      We were making glasses cases this week and Suzi had brought some leopardskin felt especially.

      They were offering 25p burgers to celebrate the opening of the new Byron on Lothian Road, so Suzi dropped us off on our way back home.

      It was super busy but we managed to get a table and the burgers were delicious... though I'd have been happy with anything for a bill of 50p.
