      We only just discovered that there's a Whole Foods Market in Glasgow and decided to head along for lunch this afternoon.

      There was so much to choose from and everything looked amazing, but we settled on a trip to the pasta salad bar with a side of focaccia and midnight rice sushi which was purple.

      Tom didn't want us to go shopping on an empty stomach, so after lunch, we looked around the rest of the market.

      Even though we didn't come with a shopping list or anything in mind that we needed, we ended up spending £70 on delicious ingredients, imported beer and meat substitutes.

      After lunch, I was booked in for a haircut at #BLOW, an amazing salon with neon signs, candy cocktails, rainbow lit mirrors and a selfie wall.

      The hairdresser I was booked in ended up with three clients at the same time, so I didn't get a chance to chat to her about adding purple to my hair but I loved the quick cut and blow dry that her assistant gave me.

      My appointment finished early, so I headed to Table 11 next door for a glass of prosecco while I waited for Tom to arrive back from the LEGO store.

      In the evening, we went for dinner at Pickled Ginger which promised tasty cocktails, sushi and ramen.

    We pass by these pyramid shaped hills covered in brightly coloured sheep on the road between Glasgow and Edinburgh each time we visit, but I'm usually too slow to take a photo in time.

    Tonight, the farmer had painted them purple, so at least they ended up with the hair I wanted!
