There's no shortage of coffee shops here in Morningside but I'm always on the hunt for new places to work from, so I was super excited to see August 21 had opened a new cafe.

We headed along for brunch today and I loved their recycled gin bottle candles and cosy booths in the window, ideal for people watching.

I tucked into a vegetarian quiche while working away on new ideas for the CO+K board.

We went for a little drive afterwards and the sunshine combined with the snow on the Pentland Hills made it look like we were driving through somewhere in Colorado, rather than Scotland.
