We got an exciting message from Jenny last night, telling us that she would be up in Edinburgh today for a VIP event at Yo Sushi!, and that she'd put us on the guest list.

We weren't too sure what to expect from the event, but when we arrived at Harvey Nichol's and handed cocktails, before being told to tuck into the conveyor belt filled with fresh sushi, we knew we were in for a treat.

The theme was This Is Tokyo, to celebrate the new menu (which Jenny designed) with 100 dishes inspired by Tokyo. I couldn't wait to try the okonomiyaki, which was just as good as I had hoped.

After tucking into a much sushi, mochi and katsu as we could handle, there was a talk with designers chatting about their experiences in Tokyo. It made me really want to go back.
