We got to hang out with Louise today before she flies back to Australia, so we jumped in the Figaro and headed out on an adventure. Our first stop was South Queensferry so she could see how the new bridge was coming along.
We stopped for lunch at Oroco Pier and had mushroom ravioli which was really good.
Louise had read about a cool place called Dunino Den on Atlas Obscura, so we headed over to Fife to check it out.
Dunino Den is a possible witchy ritual site, hidden in the woods behind Dunino Parish Church.
After making our way to the back of the churchyard, we walked through the forrest which was filled with daffodils where we found the well.
There was a carved footprint at the side of the well.
We then made our way down these little stone steps into the den.
Then den was covered in offerings with toys, ribbons and little gifts strung from the trees.
We left a few pennies as our offering but I'd love to make a dreamcatcher and come back with it someday.
I picked some daffodils for my Nana before we headed back to Kirkcaldy to drop off Louise.
We then met up with Mum, Dad and Nana in Dunfermline in the evening to celebrate Nana's birthday.
