    After waking up in Epsom this morning, I was treated to prosecco, a rose and a gorgeous new blue Cambridge satchel for Valentine's day.

      The Figaro is celebrating it's 25th birthday this year and by coincidence there was a Figaro fun run drive down to Brighton this morning, so we decided to take our Figgy along and join them.

      I'd never seen so many Fig's in one place and they looked so cute lined up next to each other.

      We said hi to everyone and took a peek into the cars and then it was time to hit the road. We tried our best to line up in different colours.

      It felt a bit like driving in a packet of sweets with all the colours and it was fun seeing everyone's faces as we drove past.

      Our second stop was a garden centre where double the number of Figaros were waiting to join the convoy including really cute red and pink ones.

      It was then time for the final stretch down to Brighton and it felt like the perfect time to get a few rows finished on my Figaro knit cushions.

    Once we were parked up in Brighton, we headed to The Lanes to meet Jenny.

      We went on the hunt for lunch and ended up at The Mesmerist for Sunday Roasts.

      I had a nut roast with all the trimmings. You can't actually see the nut roast in this picture because it's under the Yorkshire Pudding but it was topped with goats cheese and caramlised onions.

      We popped into the photobooth for a photo before heading out to explore the city.

    We headed to the Mechanical Memories Museum to spend a few old fashioned pennies on fortune tellers, slide shows and arcade games.

      Then we headed to the pier where I found two squished penny machines.

      It was then time for cocktails so we headed to Lemon Twist, a cocktail bar covered in tattoo paintings up a tiny alley.

      Jenny treated us to macarons for the road from Julien Plumart.

    It was then time to hug Jenny goodbye and head to Cheltenham for the night, in time for Tom's secret meeting in the morning.
