      We gave my Dad a drone for Christmas and finally had a chance to play with it today, so we headed up Blackford Hill.

      It was also the snowiest day of the year, making the white drone quite hard to spot when it came crashing to the ground.

      After a little while, we finally had the hang of flying it and making it hover. Our first photo and video attempts didn't turn out great but I can't wait until we take it out again.

      Our feet were cold from the snow so we headed to the Swanston Brasserie to warm up with soup and the poshest plate of onion rings I've ever seen. We had the perfect view of hundreds of sledgers sliding down the Pentland Hills.
