    I wasn't a fan of mince pies until I baked some with sloe gin last year and now I love them. Instead of sloe gin, I used Christmas Pudding Gin from Sacred Spirits this year which tasted awesome.

    My fluffy little assistant decided she wanted to help out while I was rolling out the dough and jumped up onto the counter. Luckily, I managed to catch her mid-flight so her paw only landed on one little bit. I cut it out and turned it into a cookie for her.

  3. Checkin at Harvey Nichols 4th Floor

      Mum met Tom and I after work and we went for winter warmer cocktails at Harvey Nichols while waiting for my Dad to arrive.

  4. Checkin at The Glasshouse

      In the evening, Uncle Bruce treated us to a fancy dinner at The Observatory in The Glasshouse as our Christmas present.

      Dad likes to joke that the amuse bouche is the dish he ordered and that he's disappointed about the size of it.

      Our actual meals were a lot bigger and I tucked into a sweet potato dish which tasted like cornbread.

      Tom ordered a fish which looked a bit like a fossil on his plate but tasted amazing.

      Afterwards we went for a walk on the roof terrace which was filled with light up ladies and flowers.
