      Katie & Phil were at a wedding today, so they asked us to take care of their shop Thread & Heather.

      It was so much fun playing shop, chatting to customers about their craft projects and we'd been left the task of putting a Christmas sticker in the window.

      I'd even baked a batch of rhubarb & custard slices to try and tempt our friends to come and visit.

    We haven't seen Ads, our upstairs neighbour from Dundee in years but he popped in with his girlfriend Sinead and we went for some drinks after work.

      Sean had got us on the guest list for Garbage at the Usher Hall in the evening, so we headed along to that where we bumped into Katie & Phil.

      I've never seen Garbage live before, even though Tom has a few times, but I thought they were really good and it felt like being back in the 90s.
