      The Secret Herb Garden is all lovely and overgrown at the moment and felt really Christmassy with this little robin singing next to us.

      We popped in to Thread & Heather so that my Mum could get some supplies and Phil gave us lots of free craft kits from magazines which kept us busy while we munched on cakes.

    Louise & Jamie were too wimped out by the cold weather to go aurora hunting so we invited them over for board games and Duncan & Alex came along too.

    I baked some hot chocolate cupcakes filled with salted caramel fudge and topped with white chocolate ganache and marshmallows from the London Marshmallow Company.

    Louise had warned us that there were normal board games like Monopoly and Cluedo and then there are Jamie's board games, like the Battlestar Galactica one he brought, which have millions of rules and make you cry.
