      Mum & Dad came through to visit and we went for breakfast at Piece Box, which we hadn't visited in ages.

    Tom & Dad ran off to watch the football, so Mum and I went shopping.

    Many years ago, I spotted this gorgeous tiered hem trench coat at a Burberry party and have been dreaming about having one ever since. I've tried to make it in the past but the design is so complex so I decided to look in Armstrong's for a really long second hand Burberry coat that I could hack.

    I managed to get this one for £20 which is the perfect colour and hopefully long enough to give me all the extra fabric I need to make the tiered hem.

      We went for pumpkin spice lattes at a new coffee shop called August_21 afterwards.

      I brought along my shawl kit from Yarn Crush which I was hoping to start knitting until I spent the whole time trying to untangle the yarn.
