      Tom and I have been working and crafting hard all summer and really needed a holiday, so decided to take a mini road-trip across Britain.

      Tom has never visited Blackpool before, so we took a slight detour to drive along the promenade and see the tower.

      Tom really wanted to go on the big rollercoaster but it had just closed when we arrived, so we'll have to come back.

    The rest of our drive was pretty uneventful as we made our way along the shore to Liverpool.

      Jenny & Dave had invited us to stay with them and had a tasty meal waiting for us when we arrived. Vegan Caribbean food is the perfect remedy to road-trip fatigue.
