I'd planned to make some mustardy hassleback potatoes to have with dinner last night but as we had to rush out for a picnic, I decided to make them for breakfast this morning instead.

SaraRRocha created this adorable sketch of Crafterella & Bobbin for Superhero Sunday today and I felt a little like a crafty superhero myself as I got up super early to craft.

Every time Tom has mentioned something he never did as a kid, such as sitting on Santa's knee or having an Easter Egg hunt, I've added it to a list. One of the things he's never had was a Lucky Bag, so I decided I'd make him one for his birthday.

Dad took me out for secret birthday shopping while everyone else was still asleep this morning and got lots of treats for his lucky bag including Lego, a Serial Killer magazine, bubblegum, ice lolly pants, Waddington playing cards, bubbles, a street magic kit, bear stamper and a tube of effervescents (because he loves to have one every morning).

To finish it off, I packed a homemade pick n mix with all of his favourite sweets.
