I haven't had an eye test since I lived in Dundee and things were starting to look a little blurry so I had an appointment at Specsavers. Eye tests have become a lot more futuristic since my last test and I really enjoyed doing all of the science museum tests but got a little creeped out when they showed me a photo of my eye. Tom tried to help me pick out glasses with phrases like "what about Harry Potter ones?".

We met up with Katie & Phil after work for drinks and bumped into Martyn, who we haven't seen in ages, and headed to Brauhaus. It's been taken over by the team at Cork & Cask and is back to being awesome.

Sometimes I feel a little self conscious about crafting in pubs but with sewing machines tables, I couldn't resist and started work on some new pillowcases.

Katie & Phil were getting peckish so we headed to Akva for Swedish food where I had a super sticky chocolate cake and wine. Yum!
