      We were having a boring Sunday so decided to take Fig out for a drive to see where we would end up.

      Eventually we ended up in Lanark where we found a diner called Route 36 and stopped for a peanut butter milkshake, sweet potato fries and nachos. It was just like road-tripping in the US but through windy Scottish countryside in the rain.

    Back in Scotland, I got tempted to see if I could make my oatcakes taste like haggis so popped some haggis spices and whiskey in to my mix. They tasted exactly like haggis - recipe coming soon in Around The World In 80 Dishes!
