      We met up with Kenny, Claire & Laura for brunch at Toast this morning. I love that we're trying to have a weekly brunch routine because it tempts us out of bed at the weekend and leads to fun adventures.

      Lovecrumbs have opened a new bakery, just off Leith Walk called Twelve Triangles.

      While Lovecrumbs specialises in cakes, Twelves Triangles is all about dough with a range of bread and donuts.

      We got a cardamon chocolate donut, pecan cream donut and loaf of bread to take away. They all tasted amazing.

      We took a drive afterwards and ended up at Levenhall Links, a bird sanctuary made of coal ash from the nearby power station.

      There were so many birds and they flew so close to us, just like Disney movie birds.

    I cooked some Beetroot, Feta & Olive Burgers for dinner and got to try out the chalkboard food picks I made a few days ago.
