Even though we've visited Barns Ness four times and seen the Northern Lights there twice, we've never visited during the day.

The weather lady had predicted lovely weather, so we packed a picnic and headed along.

It was just a lovely a place to be in the daytime, with hundreds of birds tweeting up in the light and lots of friendly dogs trying to join in our picnic.
