After waking up at Mum & Dad's house in Burntisland this morning, we drove Mum back to Edinburgh and went to the Secret Herb Garden.

It was a really pretty place to work and Mum got all the time she wanted to look at the plants while we caught up on work.

We went for a drink at Melville Castle afterwards where we played the Trump board game in the Library Bar.

It was a little bit like Monopoly but everything had Donald Trump or a T on it and instead of having $5 and $10 notes, they were 5 million and 10 million.

A new gangster themed piano bar called Badabing opened near us on the canal this evening, so we went along to check it out.

I had a bubblegum cocktail and then Dad joined us and we decided to stay for dinner.

The prices were really good and I ordered the house salad which was topped with lots of cranberries, goats cheese and nuts.

There was a red aurora alert in the evening, so we drove with the top down to Barns Ness to see what we could see.

Amazingly the sun was still setting at midnight, so it was far too bright to see the Northern Lights.
