We met up with Kenny & Laura for brunch at Akva this morning. It was Kenny's birthday a few days ago so we had brought him his presents.

Even though the weather wasn't amazing, we didn't feel like going home, so we took a drive along the coast and ended up at Blackness Castle.

We went for a walk on the beach so I could collect some shells. There were so many and all organized by size in waves along the beach that it was so easy to find the ones I needed.

It only took a couple of minutes to fill an entire bag full of shells.

We stopped for a drink at the Cramond Inn before heading home.

I attempted to recreate the tuna & qunioa salad I had a Wagamama the other night with crispy quinoa, kale, capers and a seared tuna steak on top. Tom thought it was amazing and finished it up faster than I could say "I never thought I'd see the day you'd eat kale".
