If serving awesome coffee only 2 minutes from our house wasn't enough to tempt us in, Odds & Ends also have an adorable new puppy who lives in their cafe.

Mum, Dad & Nana came through to visit today and knowing how much my Mum loves gardening, decided to try out The Orchard near the botanical gardens for a few drinks.

L'Alba D'Oro were celebrating their birthday by offering 40% off fish & chips, so we picked up some suppers and headed up Arthur's Seat to munch them.

I didn't realise you were able to drive over the top of Arthur's Seat until today but you can, and we had a fish & chip picnic next to a pond until it started snowing.
