    Tom surprised me with the new issue of Harley Quinn this morning and I couldn't wait to read it. I'm starting to think I might be turning into Nigella Lawson because I got hungry while reading my comic and rather than tucking into an unopened chocolate bar in the kitchen, I decided to make some truffles.

    These were adapted from my Coconut Rum Ball recipe and infused with Lamb's Spiced Cherry rum and rolled in sesame seeds. They were so tasty and the perfect cinema snack which would come in handy when we went to see Child 44 at the Dominion a litter later.

      It was the peak of the meteor storm tonight so we put the roof down on Fig, picked up some donuts from the drive-through and headed out to Barns Ness.

      Reclining in our seats was the perfect way to watch the meteors shoot across the stars and we did a pitiful job at pointing them out to each other because they came and went so fast.

      I'm a little worried that I've given away our secret and ruined our dark sky spot, after the BBC shared my aurora photo, because there were lots of other stargazers tonight who kept light-polluting the sky with their headlights and torches.
