      Our friends Katie & Phil have just got the keys for a new craft shop their opening called Thread & Heather, literally two minutes from our house!

      We got to head along for a sneak peek this evening and I'm already addicted to the place. I'm pretty sure I'll be their best customer and even Tom got stuck into the record box.

    It was Phil's birthday yesterday and I couldn't resist making him a Cake W.recks inspired brownie cake. It was really tasty!

    Katie & Phil came back to our place for cake, pizza and cocktails.

    It was fun to have our first bar guests and I mixed up some rosemary gimlets with some Gin Mare that had conveniently arrived a little earlier.

    We've been keeping an eye on the International Space Station since spotting it in the sky last night and tonight they were having a rocket sent up with supplies including a coffee machine nicknames the ISSPresso.

    We thought it might be too cloudy to spot the rocket but we headed out on the balcony and Katie spotted it just in time to see it speed by.
