    We have a skylight in our house, so when it's hot out, it feels like a greenhouse. It was unbearably warm at work today and one of my tasks was to email everyone featured in the book. After emailing Matsumoto Shave Ice in Hawaii, I had the idea to make our own shave ices to cool down and it worked a treat.

      Tom had read that there would be two good chances to see the ISS pacing overhead tonight so we headed up Blackford Hill in time to see the first one.

      It was still a little too light and way too hazy to see anything but there was a lovely sunset.
