Mum & Dad gave me some money at Christmas to spend on a gift I really wanted and it took me a while to decide what to get until I realised I really wanted an iRobot Brava so that I'd never have to mop the floors again.

The Brava is a mopping robot, similar to our Roomba and on it's first run, it made our bathroom floor sparkle. We had the Roomba hoover one room, while Brava would mop another - it was like Robot Wars!

Daffy's, a new gin distillery in Edinburgh sent me some of their gin to experiment with and I was impressed by how pretty the bottle looked.

Dad had come down with a cold and he's always super contagious when he sicks, so avoid Tom and I catching it we met up with Mum and Nana for lunch at Baxters in Kelty.

I decided to give my spice drawer a makeover and paint my spice jars with chalkboard paint so I can easily relabel jars whenever I need. I've been making powdered nori recently, so it's handy to have a spice jar full of it.

When we were in Minneapolis, Tom tried a famous Juicy Lucy burger at Matt's Bar and I was curious about how it tasted. I attempted to recreate a vegetarian version for dinner stuffed a Quorn burger with cheese, garlic and mustard.
