  1. Edit

We loved the savoury muffins I made on Sunday and I had some supplies to use up, so I decided to make a new batch and this time I made sweet pecan, apple & cinnamon muffins which were also delicious and kept us fed for the whole week.

  2. Edit

My cookbook collection has grown a lot recently, as has my collection of gin, vodka and rum from Cocktail Hour so it's time to get a new bookcase to store them all.

  3. Checkin at IKEA Edinburgh
    1. Edit

We headed to Ikea and started planning our designs over a slice of Diam cake in the cafe.

    2. Edit

When we first got Fig, I thought we'd never be able to to do Ikea runs in him but we put the roof down and our bookcases fitted perfectly. Everyone was giggling at us in the carpark.

  4. Edit

The moon looked really pretty as we were walking along the canal at twilight.

  5. Checkin at The Jolly Botanist
    1. Edit

There's a new gin bar in the city called The Jolly Botanist and I couldn't wait to try it out.

    2. Edit

They have a four page gin menu with recommended tonics and garnishs. There were so many I wanted to try but I went for Edinburgh Gin's Valentines gin which was really nice.

  6. Checkin at The Fountain.
    1. Edit

We went to The Fountain afterwards where I had rhubarb & ginger gin and a glass of cachews.

  7. Edit

When we got home, I cooked up some vegetarian Sloppy Joes with BrewDog Punk IPA.

  8. Edit

Tom didn't think he'd be a fan of something so sloppy but by infusing it with his favourite beer, he agreed to try them and he really liked them.
