    Checkin at Almondell & Calderwood Country Park

      Tom took me to our local skip for the first time to recycle some boxes this morning and it was amazing. Everyone was smiling as they threw out things which looked like unwanted Christmas presents and one man, who looked really happy to be throwing away a set of golf clubs even said hi to us because he was in such a good mood. It did feel really good chucking out our boxes into the skips too.

      Afterwards we went for a walk in Almondell Country Park. The weather was really nice when we arrived but it started snowing as we made our way into the park, so we had to shelter in the visitor centre until it passed.

      The park was really pretty with lots of little waterfalls and the snowdrops had started to pop out of the soil.

      Eventually the sun came out and we made our way along the river to the aqueduct.

    We've been really looking forward to the new season of House Of Cards which premiers tomorrow, so we stopped off at Krispy Kreme to pick up a box of donuts to enjoy with the first episode. They've started making Reese Piece donuts which are filled with peanut butter and taste amazing.
