    We had such a huge delivery of gin from Eden Brewery yesterday that the post lady joked she was coming to our house for a drink when she dropped them off.

    I've been experimenting with the hop gin and baked some hop brownies and my family had invited themselves over to help eat them this afternoon.

      We went for drinks and nibbles at The Papermill where I had a vanilla cosmo and tucked in to a mug of mac n cheese.

      We went for a drink at The Sheep's Heid afterwards and there was an amazing sunset over Arthur's Seat as we were leaving.

    My Dad brought over his slow cooker and cooked up some stewed pears which were ready when we got back.

    He served them up with ice cream and marmalade and they tasted delicious.
