It was our 12 year anniversary today and Tom and I had a busy day planned.

  2. Checkin at Café Nom De Plume
    1. Edit

We started by meeting up with Keava for brunch at Nom De Plume on Broughton Street which is her favourite cafe and one we've never been to.

    2. Edit

It was such a cozy cafe and we tucked into bagels while chatting about Keava & Rosa's wedding plans. I'm so excited for them and hope I can help with some crafty stuff.

  3. Checkin at Stockbridge Market
    1. Edit

After waving Keava off, we headed down to Stockbridge Market for the first time. It was like an Edinburgh convention of all the shops we know and love. We chatted to Holly from Lovecrumbs while waiting in line at Steampunk Coffee's camper van.

    2. Edit

Tom had coffee and I had mulled wine before tucking into some tasty dumplings from Harajuku Kitchen. I think we should try and come down to the market more often - it would make a fun Sunday tradition.

  4. Checkin at Pho Vietnamese House
    1. Edit

We took a long time deciding which restaurant to treat ourselves to for dinner before agreeing that nowhere could beat the food at Pho Vietnamese House.

    2. Edit

We brought along a bottle of bubbly and treated ourselves to fish cakes, our usual favourites and made sure to save space for Vietnamese coffee at the end. It was so good and they were really excited that we'd mentioned them in the city guide for Bust.

  5. Checkin at Marco's Pool Hall and Pizza Bar
    1. Edit

We ended the night with a game of pool at Marco's Pool Hall before heading home to watch the finale of Homeland with a box of Lindt chocolates.
