After checking out of our hotel this morning, we perked ourselves up with coffee at Timberyard.
We continued our coffee crawl to Peyton & Byrne where we also had lemon drizzle cake.
It was then time for our workshop with Google which was all about switching to a responsive design, which was really helpful because we've been trying to get our mobile site to match the revenue of our desktop version. There was sushi for lunch which was an added bonus.
We headed down to Canary Wharf afterwards and went for cocktails at The Parlour Bar where we even managed to catch a few rounds of the easiest pub quiz ever.
We went for dinner at Fire & Stone in Covent Garden afterwards. Though they don't serve my favourite Byron Bay pizza anymore, they had some crazy combinations to pick from and we ended up sharing a pizza topped with sweet potato and a second topped with noodles.
We killed some time by having hot chocolates in Notes, a lovely little coffee shop and bar near Covent Garden. There are so many new places in London that I can't wait to try one day.
We passed through Trafalgar Square on our way to the bus where there was a blue chicken on the 4th plinth and a wind machine filled with poppies which looked like something from the Crystal Maze.
We treated ourselves to a drink at No. 11 Pimlico Road while waiting for the Megabus. It was a lovely bar that made a great alternative to waiting at the bus station.
It was then time to catch the Megabus Gold home which was a little comfier than last time because we didn't have anyone above us.
