    Dad headed off to his football game this morning so Mum, Tom and I headed in to Manchester to explore the city a little more.

      We started off with lunch and rainbow cake in Proper Tea which was a lovely little tea room.

      Afterwards we took a look around the shops and ended up in Afflecks which was a giant alternative department store which felt a lot like Camden market.

    We had a look in the Lego store and Mum made a Lego MiniFigure of herself.

      We then stopped off for drinks and dirty fries in The Crafty Pig which was a hipster-by-numbers kind of bar.

    We were invited to a last minute event at Google in London, so Tom and I caught the train down.

      We stopped off for dinner at Pho in Angel before checking into our hotel. I always have a huge list of favourite restaurants to try every time I'm back in London.
