    Even though I work from home, so I could do it on any day of the week, I love waking up early on Saturday and baking. This morning, I surprised Tom by waking up with cinnamon and raisin bread, hot out of the oven.

      Mum, Dad and Nana came though in the afternoon and we went for coffee and cake at The Secret Herb Garden.

      We were lucky enough to get the cozy sofas in the middle of the greenhouse and enjoyed sitting among the flowers, bees and butterflies.

    Mum & Dad have been enjoying the knock-on effect of our new cocktail hour feature on CO+K because they've become the test subjects for my new cocktail recipes.

    I put my new pans to the test in the evening as I cooked everyone dinner with squeeky halloumi burgers and a Vietnamese-style glass noodle salad.

    Tom brought back some Le Petit Chat wine from Waitrose which was really nice and had adorable little cats all over the bottle.
