You know you're starting to become a grown up when you get excited about cookware. I'd been eyeing up these shiny copper pans from Sainsbury's Cooks Collection which were way out of our budget until then suddenly went on sale and pans which cost £70 each were down to £15. We stocked up and can finally get rid of the cheap beaten up pan set we've had since we first moved out.

It's great timing too because now it's starting to get colder outside, I'm feeling the urge to cook heartier meals.

For dinner tonight, I cooked everyone mushroom stroganoff with red wine and Quorn steak strips. Tom wasn't a fan of stroganoff before but now he likes it.
