    Today was a big day for Scotland, as it was time to vote on Independence. I was partly glad that all the debating and fighting would finally be over but I also knew that either way, roughly 50% of the country would be unhappy.

      After placing our votes, we decided to treat ourselves to lunch at Montpelier's where it was nice and quiet so we sat outside.

      I had a plate of gnocchi and a ginger cosmo which were both delicious.

      Afterwards, we headed to Lovecrumbs to do some work and eat some cake before heading home for a long night of staying awake until the votes came in.
